Surfing: an Amazing Workout

Instead of working out inside a closed environment, how about trying something different? Some fresh air, hair blowing in the wind, and the beach as the main scenario. Sound good? If you take some surfing lessons you will definitely have all these combined plus a lot of fun and fewer calories!

Surfing for basically one hour will make you burn between 250 to 500 calories, and it can activate all the muscles of your body. Anyone can do it, and the best part is that you do not need to be a professional. Even if it is your first time on a surfboard, you will have significant physical activity. Just make sure to paddle, move your arms and legs and burn away the calories. Surfing is also resistance training for the whole body because you are always paddling, and popping up on the board.
