Pacific Surf is the world’s leading surf school, with headquarters in San Diego, California. We provide surfing classes in a variety of surf areas, and our first objective is to provide the greatest surfing experience possible.

We have surf specialists from all around the world as teachers. They have all been certified in Water Safety Courses, have over a thousand 5 star ratings, and have been instructed to teach to all ages, with a focus on beginning and intermediate students.
In several of our locations, we collaborate with the top schools to deliver the same quality of service in surfing classes.

The simplest approach to schedule your lesson is to use our website, specifically this page. You will be able to view the various days and hours and select the one that best fits you.

You may also arrange surf lessons over the phone by dialing +1 (858) 488-2685, or at our Pacific Beach, San Diego, California headquarters shop.

All surf lessons last an hour and a half. The package includes the surfboard, wetsuit, leash, and rash guard.

The class begins with a geography lesson. The surfing teacher will go through water safety, board dynamics and dimensions, what to do and what not to do, and where you should stand on the board. Following that, you will enter the water with your surfing teacher to test the real thing; he or she will assist you in positioning the board correctly and will offer you advice.

A private surf session is a one-on-one class with a dedicated teacher and additional wave time. If you want to learn to surf and make it a habit, this is the ideal choice.

A semi-private surf session consists of one teacher working with a small group of two to three persons. If you want to learn how to stand up, surf some waves, and have some fun, this is a terrific alternative!

A group surf session has an instructor for every four to five individuals. You would be in a small group, which can make the experience more enjoyable!

When you come for your surf class, you will be given a wetsuit. When heading to the beach, you can wear whatever you want: boardshorts, swimsuits, or bikinis; the wetsuit will cover it all.

You can check out all of the details regarding cancellation and rescheduling here.
