Surf lessons can be booked in-store at Pacific Beach or over the phone. However, for the most convenient option, you can book your preferred lesson and schedule online through our website.
All surf lessons are one and a half hours, and all equipment needed (surfboard, leash and rash guard) are included with your lesson.
The lesson begins with a land instruction where the surfing instructor provides safety guidelines, board information, and tips on standing on the board. Following that, you will enter the water with the instructor to practice surfing with their guidance on board positioning and technique.
A private surf lesson offers one-on-one instruction and more time to catch waves, making it the optimal choice for those seeking to truly learn and incorporate surfing into their routine.
A semi-private surf lesson means an instructor for a small group of two to three people. This is a great option if you want to learn how to stand up and have some fun!
A group surf lesson is an instructor for four to five people. You would be with a small group, which can make it a more fun experience!
When you arrive for your surf lesson a wetsuit can be provided to you if you wish to rent it. The rash guard comes with the equipment, and appropriate beach attire such as board-shorts or swimsuits for men, and bikinis or swimsuits for women will be needed.
