Absolutely, dude! Whether it’s the sunny days of summer or the mild winters of San Diego, our surf lessons at Pacific Surf School are available all year. So, grab your board any time – we’re always stoked to teach!

No worries if you’re just starting out! Our surf lessons cater to all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to level up their skills. Our instructors are skilled in helping everyone catch their best waves, regardless of experience.

Expect tons of fun and some rad waves! Your first lesson will cover the basics of surfing, including safety, board handling, and wave catching techniques. With our professional guidance, you’ll be up and riding waves in no time!

Absolutely! Kids aged 7 and up can join the fun at our surf school. We ensure that all lessons for children are safe, educational, and super enjoyable. Plus, our instructors are awesome at tailoring sessions to fit the vibe and skills of younger surfers.

We’ve got you covered with all the essentials! Every lesson includes the use of a surfboard, wetsuit, UV protection, rash guard, and leash. Just bring your enthusiasm and some sunblock, and you’re all set to hit the waves.

Yes, indeed! If you prefer a one-on-one session or a private group with friends or family, our Stoked Private and Semi-Private lessons give you that personalized touch to enhance your surfing skills in a more intimate setting.

To ensure a full refund, surf lessons must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. Reservations made within 48 hours will not be refunded. Additionally, changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of the lesson reservation or upon arriving at the location (more than 10 minutes after the scheduled time) will not be refunded. Please email pacificsurf@pacificsurf.org to cancel or reschedule a reservation. Changes to bookings can be made within 48 hours, Monday to Thursday, for a fee of $35 per person. Surf lesson and camp reservations cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours from June 10th to September 10th. Remember to arrive at least 10 minutes early; late arrivals of more than 10 minutes will be considered no-shows, with no refunds given.

All our instructors are not only certified surf instructors but also have CPR and Lifeguard certifications. They’re totally dialed into water safety and are passionate about teaching surfing in the most fun and safe way possible.

Each surf lesson lasts for 90 delightful minutes. It’s the perfect amount of time to learn the basics and get ample practice with waves, all while having an epic time at the beach!

San Diego’s beaches are buzzing with activities! After your surf session, you can explore the local boardwalks, dive into some great eateries, or just chill on the gorgeous beaches. Pacific Beach offers plenty of family fun with its beautiful scenery and vibrant local culture.
