Palm Springs Surf Club

Do you want to schedule your dream session with your friends at the Palm Springs Surf Club wave pool in Southern California? Pacific Surf School is ready to provide a magical day in the Coachella Valley, in the heart of the Californian desert!

To sharpen your wave riding skills, private sessions will include services such as surf clinics, video analysis, and coaching. You can schedule two sessions in one day and the groups will be closed with 10 to 12 people. We’ll bring surfers of all levels together: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Why schedule a private session at the Palm Springs wave pool?

As the first wave pool to open in the Coachella Valley, a coveted area gaining strength in the artificial wave market, Palm Springs Surf Club is in high demand and the Pacific Surf School can make life easier for you by securing your sessions on your ideal day.

Without the support of the Pacific Surf School, it’s not easy to surf with your friends on the same day and time, especially if you’re all at different surfing levels (sessions with available spots are always with the same wave type, and only private sessions provide fun with different formats).

Additionally, you and your friends can save money as we will schedule two sessions in one day, saving from having to find different days and times and seeing increased accommodation, food, and transportation costs.

How does a private surf session at the Palm Springs wave pool work?

Pacific Surf School will be offering only three dates per month for the scheduling of your private sessions. Each package will have two surf sessions on the same day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Each private session will last one hour. The first will be from 9 to 10am, and the second from 3 to 4pm. At the end of each surf session, we will do a video analysis to help refine your wave riding techniques, all with the support of a coach from our school who will closely follow each session.

The first analysis of the day will start at 12pm and go until 2pm. The last will start at 4:30pm and end at 6pm.

If you need accommodation during your trip to surf at the Palm Springs wave pool, you can stay at the same hotel as our team. Just request the inclusion of this service.

About Palm Springs wave pool

The Palm Springs Surf Club wave pool is powered by SurfLoch technology. According to the company, their systems can create a maximum of one swells every eight seconds or 450 waves per hour.

These 450 waves reform at different backdrops, creating thousands of waves per hour. The frequency can be adjusted downward as needed for service or other operational purposes.

For more advanced surfers, there are perfect wave sections for tubes and air maneuvers, tested and approved by world champions such as Filipe Toledo, Italo Ferreira, and Carol Marks.

There are also fun and easier waves for beginner surfers. In short, there are waves for every taste!
