Pacific Surf School offers surfboard and wetsuit rentals for individuals, groups, and events. We have an extensive selection of boards to fit any surfing style, skill level, and budget. Wetsuits are made from quality materials that provide maximum warmth while still being comfortable in the water.
Our rental packages come with a board and wetsuit, plus all the necessary accessories. Pacific Surf School also offers lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers to help them maximize their time in the water and ensure safety while enjoying the waves. Our experienced instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about the sport and will help you get the most out of your surfing experience.
We offer wetsuit and surfboard rentals on a per-day basis or by the hour and a half.

Great experience - They provided everything we needed for first time surfing lessons. The instructor we had was knowledgeable and had a great attitude. We didn’t get the photo session in advance but they had some available to purchase after which was really nice. Would do this again and recommend to family/friends

Blast at Surf Camp and Lessons - My son and my girlfriend's son had a blast at the Pacific Surf Camp. They went for a week- my son (who has surfed before) was stand up surfing in a matter of minutes and then went to bigger, deeper waves by the end of the week. My girlfriend's son, who had never surfed before, was catching his own moderate waves and standing up on his own by the end of camp. Paige made sure both boys were really taken care of. (Even got one boy gluten free pizza for the end of camp and Schwag!). Danny got my boy out to the bigger waves too.
I took lessons first with Jeff then with Max. Jeff was an excellent instructor- keeping his directions simple to the point and positive. (The day before I floundered on a rental with no instruction). The next day, Jeff had me up and riding in less than 15 minutes. I went back for more instruction the following day with Max. He showed me there is more to learn- from balance on the board, to wave selection, to how to turn your board. If I had to do it again, I would sign up for a week's worth of lessons. This crew can get you up and surfing quickly.
We plan on going back next summer- and go for even bigger waves 🙂

Great Experience - Very good experience. The school was easy to find on the beach and the lesson got started right on time. My daughter and I had Russell as our instructor. He was very knowledgeable and basically stayed with my daughter the entire time to make sure she got the most attention.

Stand-Up Paddling is recommended for individuals aged 8 and up. Our rental package includes the paddleboard, leash, and a high-performance paddle.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to avoid any issues. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will be considered a no-show, and no refunds will be provided. Punctuality is key!
Rentals must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Reservations made within 48 hours will not be refunded.
Yes, you can reschedule your rental within 48 hours, Monday – Thursday, for a $35 fee per person. To reschedule, please email pacificsurf@pacificsurf.org. We do not accept rescheduling requests over the phone.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, we will do our best to reschedule your rental or offer a refund at our discretion to ensure your safety.
Rental packages cannot be returned, refunded, or transferred to other products and cannot be split between multiple students.
